JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a planning architect in Eksjö municipality, you will continuously work on developing plans and associated planning documents for the municipality's physical development. In these processes, you will provide excellent service and a professional approach to the affected citizens and businesses. You will work on creating overarching documents such as comprehensive plans and various thematic planning documents, and you may also be involved in assignments related to public environments such as pedestrian and bicycle planning and green planning. You will guide the physical development in close dialogue with developers and, as the responsible planning architect, also participate in and present your cases at committee meetings and preparatory meetings.

Your ability to balance different interests and requests into a cohesive whole is crucial for a successful outcome.

The professional role requires you to be proactive, work in a structured and solution-focused manner while being flexible and possessing good collaboration skills. Your pedagogical ability is important so that you can describe and convey ideas and plans both visually, orally, and in writing to politicians, colleagues, municipal residents, and other stakeholders. You have a pronounced service mindset and find joy in contributing to the whole.
